I am forced to wonder, is कहो ना प्यार है that much harder to write than Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai? I found it so acceptable that a teeny bopper would write words that way that I didn't even question the loss of the indigenous script!
Jeyamohan writes a series of posts on Lohithadas, my favorite script writer in the Malayalam paradigm. Just the loglines of chempattu excite so many possibilities! They also mention Lohithadas' somewhat erroneous assertion that cinema is nothing but it's sahithyam. Quite ironic considering Bharathan was Lohi's favorite director. Regardless Lohi will be sorely missed. Especially if some of the projects Jeyamohan talks about never materialize.
